raikkikki ("we", "us", "the app") is a social app for discovering, hosting and coordinating parties and meetups. It is operated by yopa.ai (yopa.ai) and is designed mainly for people living in Singapore. For privacy matters, our contact is support@raikkikki.com. This is also the contact for our data protection responsibilities under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and password (the password is handled by our authentication provider and we cannot read it). If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us, with your consent.
Profile information. You choose a username. You may add a first name, last name, city, country, a short bio, a profile picture and additional photos. This is all optional except what is needed to create an account.
Location. With your permission, the app reads your device's precise location to show parties near you, centre the map on you, and calculate distances. We do not keep a history of your location, and we do not show your live location to other users. If you post a party, the party's address and map position are saved and shown to other users, because that is the point of the listing. You can refuse or withdraw location permission at any time in your device or browser settings. Some features, like nearby party discovery, will then be limited.
Parties, requests and social activity. We store the parties you post, the join requests ("Hit Ups") you send or receive and their outcome, your friends and friend requests, groups you create or join, and invitations you send. If you open an invite link, we record who invited you so we can connect you as friends.
Messages and photos. We store the messages you send in direct and group chats, and any photos you upload to chats, parties, groups or your profile. When a party host accepts your join request, an automatic welcome message from the host is added to your chat.
Reports. If you report a user, message or party, or someone reports you, we store the report and the information needed to review it.
Notification token. If you allow notifications, your phone's push notification service (Firebase Cloud Messaging, by Google) gives us a device token. We store it, linked to your account, so we can deliver alerts about messages, join requests and party updates to your phone.
Contacts (optional). If you use the "invite from contacts" feature, the app shows contact names, emails or phone numbers from your device so you can send an invitation by email or WhatsApp. This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. The invitation itself is sent through your own email or WhatsApp app.
Technical information. Our service providers automatically record standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and access times, for security and reliability.
We only use your information for these purposes. If we want to use it for a new purpose, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Your consent. By creating an account and using raikkikki, you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your information as described in this policy. Features that need extra permission, such as location, contacts and notifications, only work if you allow them on your device, and you can withdraw that permission at any time.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Photos you upload are stored in cloud storage so that they can be shown inside the app. Files are saved under your account and only you can upload to your own folder, but anyone who has the exact web address of a photo can open it. We do not publish these addresses outside the app. Even so, please do not upload photos that would harm you if the address were ever shared by someone else.
raikkikki is built on the following providers. Each handles data on our behalf under its own privacy and security practices.
We do not use advertising networks or third-party analytics trackers in the app.
Our providers run servers in several countries, so your information may be stored or processed outside Singapore. When this happens, we rely on our providers' security commitments and choose providers that apply standards of protection comparable to those required in Singapore.
Notifications are optional. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings, or in the app's notification settings. If you turn them off, we stop sending them to your device. We remove device tokens that stop working, for example after the app is uninstalled, and we delete your token when we delete your account.
The app saves a few small items on your device so it works smoothly: a copy of your basic profile, your language choice, which notifications you dismissed, and a pending invite link if you opened one before signing up. Chat wallpaper choices are also kept on your device only. We do not use these to track you across other apps or websites. You can clear them by clearing the app's data or signing out.
We do not keep personal information longer than we need it for the purposes in this policy or for legal reasons.
To use any of these rights, email support@raikkikki.com from the email address on your account. We may ask you to confirm who you are, to protect your account. We aim to reply within 30 days. If a request will take longer, we will tell you why and when to expect an answer.
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS) and database-level access controls that limit who can read or change it. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and, where required by law, Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission, as soon as we reasonably can. Please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone has accessed your account.
raikkikki is intended for people aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using the app, please contact us so we can investigate. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it. See also our Child Safety Standards.
raikkikki helps you discover and coordinate real-world events, but we are not present at and do not supervise any party arranged through the app. Please read our Terms & Conditions for safety guidance and important disclaimers about in-person meetups.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above. For important changes, we will also tell you in the app or by notification. If you keep using raikkikki after a change takes effect, you accept the updated policy.
